Our partnership with KeHE Blog Post

Today, we are delighted to announce the results of our partnership with KeHE Distributors, one of the largest and fastest-growing natural and organic grocery distributors in North America.

Multi-year partnership

For the last year, KeHE has leveraged the Spoiler Alert sales management platform to enhance its distressed inventory management efforts.  As part of a multi-year partnership with Spoiler Alert, KeHE will continue to streamline its sales process while strengthening relationships with a network of discount retailers and nonprofits affiliated with their 14 distribution centers across the United States.

Reducing Food Waste Month

The timing of this announcement is no coincidence, as April is recognized by the USDA, EPA, and FDA as Winning on Reducing Food Waste Month, and last week marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, a topic we recently covered on our blog.

KeHE Case Study Results

This announcement represents the culmination of a lot of hard work - from both the Supply Chain team at KeHE (whose leadership and adoption of technology to improve their workflows is admirable), as well as from our team’s efforts to continuously enhance and evolve our solutions offering

Affordable nutrition

Not only has it been a great opportunity to partner with a mission-aligned Certified B Corp in KeHE (a company with whom we share a commitment to climate action via the Climate Collaborative), but it’s also been a chance for us to broaden our work in the affordable nutrition space, bringing access to a wide array of healthy, natural, and organic products to a portfolio of discount retailers around the country who cater to price-sensitive consumers. These include the likes of Daily Table (check out our spotlight on them from a few years ago), a non-profit grocery store that has been an important partner and source of inspiration here in Boston. These retailers are as important as ever given the impact of COVID-19 on our economy.
